About Us
Guiding Star
Empower Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to co-create a shared, living vision of reconciliation
Mission
In collaboration with Indigenous peoples — Métis, Inuit, and First Nations, status and non-status — we move from learning to action. Together with funding partners, we advance Calls to Action through meaningful, measurable change
Vision
Tipi of Hope Foundation is an Indigenous-led Registered Charity. Our registration number is 715170411 RR 00011.
Supported by our volunteer Board Members, we help Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities shape a united vision of reconciliation. We collaborate closely with Indigenous peoples, communities, organizations, and groups to drive meaningful and lasting action.
Please see our Reconciliation, Environmental Stewardship, and Diversity and Inclusion Commitments for more information.
Community + Programs
The Foundation’s Programs are developed and released independently or in collaboration with our partners. All Programs featuring our Logo are protected under our Trademark. We welcome you to get involved in our Programs and community initiatives. To learn more, please contact us at info@tipiofhope.ca.

BEADING FOR HOPE
From Indigenous volunteers selling pieces to raise funds for our other programs or working collaboratively alongside schools to teach the art of beading, our program has been seen as a bridge for communication, healing, and collaboration.

Benches
for Hope
Creates both physical and symbolic spaces for reconciliation and healing. These benches across Canada feature the Tipi of Hope logo and a QR code that invites people to pause, reflect, and connect.
Shoes for
hope
We saw a need to turn the memorials of shoes placed across Turtle Island into something that everyone could get involved in. The program is our Indigenous Community Support Program and has expanded beyond shoes to include donations of basic needs such as diapers, socks, jackets, and more.

Education
for Hope
We are committed to supporting educators by reducing fear and building confidence. To help, we have developed colouring pages, beading kits and additional resources tailored for teachers.

Storytelling Program
Storytelling is at the heart of Indigenous tradition — a way to teach, heal, and connect. We are gathering stories from all voices. Submit yours today and help weave a richer, stronger community narrative.
